About RKVY
Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY), now restructured as RKVY-RAFTAAR (Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied sector Rejuvenation), is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme launched in 2007 with the objective of incentivizing states to increase public investment in agriculture and allied sectors.
Under RKVY, Simdega district receives funds for infrastructure development, post-harvest management, agri-business promotion, and integrated farming systems with a focus on tribal and backward communities.

Eligibility & Application Process
Who can apply:
- Individual farmers (preference to small/marginal/SC/ST)
- Farmer groups (FIGs, SHGs, FPOs)
- Agri-entrepreneurs (under RAFTAAR component)
How to apply:
- Contact Block Agriculture Coordinator (BAC) in your block
- Submit application with land documents and Aadhaar
- Applications are scrutinised at block level and forwarded to ATMA
- Final selection is on committee recommendation basis
